QR code tipping for bartenders

Most customers pay their tab by card and have no cash left for a tip. A QR code on the bar changes that in one scan.

Put your personal Paytapper QR code on a table tent, the bar top, or a sticker by the register. When a customer wants to tip, they scan it with their phone camera, pick an amount, and pay instantly — no app, no change, no forgetting.

You don't need to ask, and the customer doesn't need cash. The tip goes straight to your own Stripe account, separate from the bar's till.

FAQ

How do bartenders get tipped with a QR code?

You get a personal QR code from your Paytapper dashboard. Stick it on the bar, a tip jar or your badge — customers scan it, choose an amount, and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Do I need a POS system to accept QR tips?

No. Your Paytapper QR code and payment page work independently of any POS system — you just need your phone or a printed code at the bar.

How fast do I get paid?

Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. Payout timing follows your Stripe payout schedule.

What does it cost?

Paytapper charges 10% per successful tip, with no monthly fee.
