QR code tipping for waiters
When a guest pays the bill by card, the tip usually disappears with it. A personal QR code gives them an easy way to tip you directly.
Add your Paytapper QR code to the receipt tray, a small table card, or your name badge. Guests scan it at the end of the meal, choose an amount, and pay in a few taps — the tip goes to your own Stripe account, not the restaurant's.
It works the same whether you're full-time staff or picking up shifts across different venues — the QR code is yours, not tied to a specific POS or employer.

FAQ
How can waiters accept tips without cash?
With a personal Paytapper QR code. Show it on the receipt tray or a small table card — guests scan it, choose a tip amount, and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Does this replace the restaurant's card terminal?
No. Paytapper is only for tips and small payments to you personally, separate from how the guest pays their bill.
Do guests need to download anything?
No. Scanning the QR code opens a payment page in their browser — no app install required.
What's the fee?
Paytapper takes 10% per tip, with no monthly cost to you.
